Over a 5-year period, HDL completed eight pavement preservation projects throughout southcentral Alaska. Many roadways under this term contract had reached the end of their service life and required safety improvements. The work primarily involved stabilizing the base course and replacing asphalt. Many of the projects involved drainage improvements, culvert replacements, development of environmental documents, public scoping, erosion control and sedimentation plans, compliance with Americans with Disability Standards Act, and signing and striping.
