HDL maintains an American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) accredited and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers validated laboratory in Palmer to provide soil, concrete, and asphalt testing. We also have a season laboratory in Kenai to serve our clients on the Kenai Peninsula and several mobile laboratories that can be set up anywhere in the state.

Our staff is Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction (WAQTC) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) certified and trained to provide accurate results on tight schedules. We routinely provide both Quality Control and Quality Assurance testing to meet our client’s needs from the railbelt to remote villages and job sites.

Our licensed Special Inspection staff routinely provide and coordinate inspection for soils, concrete, masonry, structural wood, fireproofing, and structural steel.
