Heather manages the firm’s Environmental Services Department. She graduated with a degree in Environmental Science from the Alaska Pacific University, and holds a Graduate Certification in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) from Utah State University. Heather has over 15 years of experience, focusing primarily on the development of NEPA documentation, resource agency coordination, and permitting for transportation projects. She prepares and manages environmental documents, including environmental permitting, ecological and biological assessments, resource assessments, management plans, preliminary environmental reviews, state environmental checklists, categorical exclusions, wetland delineations, and threatened and endangered species studies. Heather enjoys cycling in Alaska throughout the year. Her current collection of bicycles includes fat tire, gravel, road, and mountain. She enjoys pedaling for the long haul in endurance events and just for fun.
