Tuck is HDL’s Survey and Mapping Services Department Manager. Originally registered in 1980, Tuck earned his Alaska Professional Land Surveyor registration in 1995. He has more than 23 years of surveying and mapping experience throughout Alaska including large, complex projects. Tuck provides survey and mapping expertise on federal, state, borough, and municipal transportation, utilities, rural energy, and subdivision projects. His survey and mapping expertise includes topographic and hydrographic surveys, Right-of-Way and boundary surveys, and subdivision mapping, and platting. These surveys combine Global Positioning Systems, robotic total stations, LiDAR, and aerial/drone imagery to achieve accurate results with the highest quality performance. Tuck served as President of the Alaska Society of Professional Land Surveyors, and is a Life Member. He is an avid skier, and served as a coordinator for the Eagle River Junior Nordic Family Ski Program. Tuck also enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing in Alaska’s great outdoors.
