Photo of David LundinDavid is the firm’s President and is a Principal Civil and Environmental Engineer. He manages HDL’s Mat-Su office, leads our Civil Engineering/Site Development and Water/Wastewater groups, and is Principal-In-Charge of our Geotechnical Services, Mat-Su Transportation, and Construction Testing Services departments. David is a 1993 graduate of the University of California at Davis and has provided planning, design, cost estimating, and construction administration in Alaska since 2000. His experience includes airport, water and wastewater, roadway, and public and private site development projects. His construction administration and inspection experience delivers an excellent project at a fair price – a win/win for the owner and contractor. David has volunteered as a firefighter for over 22 years and currently is a Battalion Chief with Palmer Fire & Rescue. He is also a state-certified Fire Officer and Fire Instructor and serves on the Alaska Fire Standards Council.
